To remove spirit gum, start by using a cotton pad, sponge, or Q-tip to carefully apply the gum remover to the edges of the prosthetic piece or hairline. Then gradually work your way around the edge to release the seams. You can then chisel your way underneath to gradually release the bond between the prosthetic and the underlying skin. Expect 3-15 applications per ounce.
